
Magdelaine Hodebourg, born in French Guiana, began studying classical dance at the age of 6. In 2006, she moved to the south of France and continued her training in classical, modern, and jazz dance across Europe. She studied in Avignon, Carpentras, Paris, and Lausanne, attending institutions such as the Conservatory of Avignon, the Temps de Flèche Company, the American Academy of Dance in Paris, and Rudra Béjart in Switzerland.
In 2018, she turned to contemporary dance at La Nuova Officina della Danza in Turin, Italy, for a year before relocating to London and then to Brussels, Belgium, where she earned a degree from P.A.R.T.S.
During her studies, she developed a passion for choreography and created three works that were publicly presented. Iter marks her first professional choreographic project, supported by Dans Punt and DJSCS Guyane.
Since 2022, she has been working as a freelance performer, choreographer, and choreographic assistant for artists such as Bruno Freire, Nish Gera, Oscar Murillo, Elsa Tagawa, Mali Arun, and Martha Daro, collaborating on various artistic and stage projects.
