WE.LO(U)VE.RADIO
Aurélie Louve & Jeanne Louve

WE.LO(U)VE.RADIO is a series of site specific and nocturnal live radio performances created by Aurélie and Jeannne Louve.

Aurélie Louve’s big eyes allow her to see the oscillation of the waves. With her long legs, she can walk freely around forests and land. Thanks to her big ears, the sounds of the world resonate within her. She is solitary: she has listened to secrets of the sand tumbling down the dunes; she has met with nightly howling winds. Now she has joined a pack of she-wolves with whom she shares her passion for sound memories, rustling landscapes, and abyss of silence. The she-wolves attentively listen to each other to better understand the meaning of the words they use so they can share their stories with us. Their tales are like our world: round and complete, rich and full, alive. Those who will pay attention to their murmur will enter a rich universe full of images of a fragmented world, talkative yet silent.

Jeanne Louve wanders silently deep inside the forest to listen to the many voices and the mysterious rustling she can only find there. Paying attention to every sound, she threads carefully between the soft ferns and the ferocious thorns to capture the sounds that will make her skin tingle. Her art takes time and patience: you have to separate from the pack and act alone, leaving behind what once was and open up to what is now… Her aim is this fragile moment in time where all the flavours blossom in unison. Once she has collected these precious sounds, she brings them back to her lair where she polishes and sculpts them. When the sounds are ready to be shared with the others, a feast like no other can finally begin.
